Welcome Home, Sr. Maria Agnes!

It's been over a week since Sr. Maria Agnes returned home to our monastery after serving a 3 year term as prioress at the Dominican Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines.

Although Sr. Maria Agnes is a native of the Philippines after being away for nearly 30 years it took awhile to adjust to the constant heat among other things. Sister is grateful to be back to a more mild climate although this summer might make her feel like she's back in the Philippines.

Sister Maria Agnes returned home with a cold so all attempts at getting a picture have come to naught as she says that, "I look out of character!" Later, we'll get it.

Welcome home, dear Sister! We are happy that you responded to God's call to serve our dear Sisters in the Philippines but we are happy to have you home in Summit!

Oh, you'll find the dish towels in the same place.....
