TO BE OF ONE HEART AND MIND

As part of our 800th Jubilee celebrations, it was suggested that monasteries "twin" with a monastery in another part of the world in order for us to get to know each other better and to share as sisters the richness of the gifts of grace that are being lavished on us by God during this Jubilee.

Today it was announced that we have been "twined" with the Monastère de Notre-Dame de Chalais. Like us, they have 17 nuns but unlike us they run a thriving guest house and sell delicious biscuits! We have the CD of their beautiful liturgy and are known for their use of zithers.

Although for many years our monastery has maintained correspondence with many of our monasteries we look forward to getting to know our Chalais Sisters better during this coming year and to share the "fruits of our contemplation".
