Easter Vigil Preparations 2007

Holy Saturday has been called the longest day of the year as we wait with eager longing for the glory of the Resurrection!

However, in the monastery there is plenty to do! From preparing the Easter fire out on the cloister to cleaning, polishing and arranging flowers in the sanctuary! Not to mention coloring eggs for the community's Easter breakfast or preparing the crackers, cheese and cookies for Guadeamus after the Vigil!

Somehow, (maybe with the help of our guardian angels?) it all gets done before Vespers!

We wish all our readers a Joyous Easter! Resurrexit sicut dixit! You have been remembered in our prayers during these solemn days of prayer!
