Annual Retreat and Other News
Our annual retreat begins tonight with our first conference and Compline. This year, Fr. Walter Wagner, OP, presently pastor of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in NYC and most recently novice master (11 years!) for the Province of St. Joesph will preach our retreat. It's been a busy summer and we're eagerly awaiting this time for extra solitude, silence and rest!
Our projected website "makeover" has hit some snags but Sr. Webmistress has been busy this week and we now offer the following:
- New photos on almost every page. The Gallery will be renewed at a later date.
- Social networking/sharing on each page and for each Gift Shop Item! You can now Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Email and Print any page or item on the website. (We're told people like this!)
- Blog entries now show up on the first page of the website.
- Social networking/sharing is also now functioning on the blog.
- The blog is now mobile reader enabled. We're waiting for the next person with a "Smart phone" who comes to visit us to show us what this is!
Retreat ends August 28th. So, off to the desert!
