Joyful News

It seems like just yesterday that Sr. Danielle entered the cloister to begin her postulancy, the very first steps in the her religious life. In reality 7 months have passed by and Sister has recently heard the joyful news that she has been accepted to receive the habit and begin her novitiate on Dec 8th, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

Now the seamstresses get busy sewing all the many pieces that go together to make up a Dominican novice! Caps and veils and scapulars and tunics and tunicelles and cappas and collars, oh my! Meanwhile the community is "helpfully" suggesting religious names. One new suggestion is Sr. Cucuphas, and there is the ever popular Sr. Cunegunda.

Please keep Sr. Danielle in your prayers as she prepares to begin her novitiate!
