A Warm Welcome to Sister Mary Agnes

Last week, we had the joy of welcoming Sister Mary Agnes of the Infant Jesus Baudo, OP into our community. She comes to us from the Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary (yes, the same name!) in Heath, Ohio. Sister Mary Agnes has a delightful personality and has been a joy and a blessing to us even in the short time she has been here. She will tell you that while her birth certificate indicates that she is 90 years old, she is really 39 and holding - the birth certificate hasn’t been updated yet. She says that you are never too old for a new adventure!

We now have two nonagenarian Sisters, with very similar names. Sister Mary Agnes joins Sister Maria Agnes as the two eldest sisters in the community. We have been trying to enunciate the Mary or Maria in their names very clearly to reduce confusion!
