PRAYING FOR LIFE

Today we join our brothers and sisters who are in Washington, DC, at the March for Life, and walk with them "in spirit" and in prayer as they brave the cold and snow to witness to the dignity and preciousness of each and every human life, and protest against the sanctioned murder of the innocent and helpless. We know many who are marching today, including our Dominican Friars at the Dominican House of Studies, Washington, DC, Kathryn Cooper, co-chair of "PC for Life" which organizes pro-life activities at Providence College, and Gary Williams, one of our monastery workmen. May the Lord prosper our prayers and sacrifices, so that this horror may end! And, may He have mercy on the bloodstained hands of our country. Amen!
