ROSE PRUNING 101


Yesterday, our Japanese aspirant, Masumi, was taught the basics of rose pruning (from removing dead branches to trimming the live ones) by Sr. Judith Miryam. Here she is exercising all her powers of "discernment" and "prudence" in working on a particularly thorny rosebush. Ouch! Her instructor (who suffered much from the thorns) gave her an A++!
