LET IT SNOW!

This morning's snow storm was a headache for the rush hour commute...or any commute for that matter, but inside the monastery we enjoyed watching the big flakes quickly become 12 inches of white powder covering everything around, even St. Dominic. Someone said it looks like he has a dollop of whipped cream on his head. All he needs is a cherry!

Sr. Mary Catharine and Sr. Greta wasted no time after dinner dishes to head out for a walk! Since there were no other brave souls out to enjoy the wind, cold and drifts, they put the camera on the ladder against the house and after 3 shots got this picture. Sister, isn't your habit wet?
