"CIOPPINO SAN TOMMASO D'AQUINO!"

Sr. Mary Catharine, Sr. Greta, and Sr. Maricon are
busy at work in their shelling!

Our benefactors love to spoil us, and in particular, Joe Fitzpatrick and his son Jody, enjoy treating us to their delicious homemade cuisine. Today they surprised us with a big pot of cioppino, Italian fish stew. Although the stew is normally served with the shellfish (mussels, lobster claws, clams, etc.) intact, solicitude for the easy eating of our sisters inspired a few of us to make the gustatory experience less adventurous. Sr. Mary Catharine, Sr. Greta, and Sr. Maria Concepcion fished the shellfish out of the pot, and expertly shelled them, attracting the attention of several sisters including roving blog photographer, Sr. Judith Miryam (yes, she's the one who takes most of the photos!). We can't wait to enjoy this special treat tonight at supper, and are confident that our big brother Aquinas would approve!

Sr. Maricon seems to be the only one
concerned with food preparation safety!
Check out those surgical gloves!

Doesn't this look like a cooking show photo?

And here's the pot it came in!
