OUR NEW POSTULANT, SR. ANGELA!

Sr. Angela poses on the cloister.

On Divine Mercy Sunday, we had the joy of welcoming Sr. Angela into our community. Her family accompanied her on her journey from Florida to be with her on this momentous day of her entrance to monastic life. The simple ceremony began with a procession from our chapter hall into our choir, and after a brief Liturgy of the Word, our prioress, Sr. Mary Martin officially commenced Sr. Angela's postulancy by asking the Lord to "bring this first beginning to its perfect end." And, every sister in choir, from the oldest to the youngest, responded with a strong "Amen!" mindful of our continued striving for our own "perfect end." Please pray for Sr. Angela as she discerns the Lord's Will.
