Have we got corn! Yesterday afternoon, several of us were busy shucking the overflowing bushel of gorgeous ears of sweet corn planted by the novitiate sisters. Higher than an elephant's eye, some of the corn was ready for the pickin' yesterday afternoon (Sr. Mariana and Sr. Mary Catharine did the honors), and was enjoyed with gusto at our evening meal. And, there's more to come! Blessed be the Lord of the Harvest!
