Many thanks to all who nominated and voted for Monialesop in the 2007 Catholic Blog Awards! To be sure, we found some of the categories we were nominated in rather amusing.

We apologize for the delay in thanking you but one of the Sister Bloggers, Sr. Mary Catharine, had long awaited foot surgery this week. Sister is recovery well and trying very hard to do her Lenten penance: resting and not walking although she is able to hobble around. Please pray for her complete recovery and that the surgery will be a sucess!

Sister has entrusted her surgery and recovery to St. Dominic ("Since he was always walking and wanted the nuns to wear shoes!") and attributes having very little pain to his intercession. "After all," she said, "he IS my Father!"
