Fr. Thompson is a historian and a long time friend of our community. He's spent many hours keeping us spell bound while lecturing on topics of medieval history. He's probably the only friar who never hears the Compline Bell when it rings!

Currently, Fr. Thompson is living in Italy researching and writing a new book on St. Francis (yes, by a Dominican) but we look forward to his return to the States and his return to our monastery! I bet his next lectures will be on St. Francis!
