First Harvest

STRAWBERRIES!

Last year Sr. Mary Catharine planted 50 strawberries plants in "Our Lady's garden." Despite covering them with a cheesecloth tent, the novitiate sisters have lost a few battles with the rabbits who go for the big, succulent berries first. However, today, Sr. Joseph Maria arrived in the kitchen right before Rosary and Sext with this beautiful bucket of strawberries! Yum! They were much appreciated by the community.
