O ADONAI

Burning Bush by Sébastien BOURDON

The idea was to share the O Antiphons with you each day but yesterday somehow the thingamagig (It's not an ipod but we don't know what to call it. A sanza?) we use to record, didn't. And O Sapientiae sounded good, too!

If you are familiar with the O Antiphons you will notice that we sing them with slight differences as we are singing from our Dominican books. Yes, you will hear mistakes!

We'll try to share each day with you as we enter into these great days of preparation for Christmas!

O Adonai, and leader of the House of Israel,
who appeared to Moses in the fire of the burning bush
and gave him the law on Sinai:
Come and redeem us with an outstretched arm.
