One of the highlights of each year is the visit of the new group of novices for the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph. Usually in January they go on a tour of the Province, visiting priories and apostolates of the friars and visit as many of the monasteries as possible. For most of the novices this is their first meeting with their cloistered sisters.

This year, because of the Provincial Assembly which will be held next week, the Provincial Tour was delayed until now so for once we didn't have to wonder if a snow storm would cancel the visit!

Lemonade replaced the hot chocolate but we made sure that the traditional chocolate chip cookies were served with enough left over to fortify the Brothers as they made their way to NY!

Our novice brothers will be making their First Profession in August. Please join us in praying for their perseverance as they follow in the footsteps of St. Dominic!
