Retreat Days and Soap Shipping

In preparation for the feast of the Presentation of Mary on November 21st, our community will be in retreat Wednesday, November 18 - Saturday, November 21st. This day is very special to us because it is Pro Orantibus Day and is also the day when our monastery FIRST made Solemn Profession and was fully incorporated into the Order as Nuns of the Order of Preachers back in 1955. This day has extra significance because our community had been waiting over THIRTY YEARS for this privilege, living the Constitutions of the Nuns as best they could until the day when the Archbishop would give his permission.
