CLARIFICATION

It has come to our attention that the Women & Spirit:Catholic Sisters in America exhibit, which is sponsored by the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), has the Dominican Nuns of Summit, New Jersey listed as members of the LCWR.

We are not, nor have ever been, members of the LCWR.

We are also not members of the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious (CMSWR).

Both organizations serve active religious congregations of women, not cloistered, contemplative monasteries.

UPDATE: Several people have contacted us that the list at the exhibit included most religious Orders in the US.
