Dominicans...and Soap!

One of our Dominican Brothers sent us a postcard with the following words of wisdom he had culled from reading the treatise of Humbert of Romans (3rd Master of the Order) on preaching:

"Again, the word of God is like powerful soap which is strong enough to wash away the filth of dirty linen. "You are clean because of the word which I have spoken to you" (John 15:3)."

That's powerful soap! Obviously, our brother Humbert probably wouldn't go for Lavender or Cloister Garden soap!
