Foundation Day!

Today is the 93rd anniversary of the foundation of our monastery! Mother Mary Imelda and 14 sisters came from the Blue Chapel in Union City, NJ, to the rural town of Summit, NJ! It's not rural any longer! As you can imagine we have a special devotion to the Angels and our choir is decorated with stately wooden angels all about reminding us of the angels without number that stand before the Eucharistic Throne praising and adoring God, inviting us to share in their service.

Today another "angel" will join as Sr. Deepa will receive the habit in a ceremony this morning! Keep on checking back to find out more! We know you would just love to know what religious name she will be given!
