Lot's Wife Part II

Remember "Lot's Wife"? We didn't get too many guesses so we thought to wait a bit before telling you that the strange thing you see in our orchard is one of two of Sr. Joseph Maria's fig trees. She started these from clippings from a fig tree from our sisters in Lufkin, Texas. The trees did have their own little green houses which Sr. Joseph Maria and Sr. Mary Magdalene built but as you can well imagine, they didn't survive the hurricane. So, Sister wrapped the trees in plastic instead. Years ago we had 2 wonderful fig trees but for some reason lost in the sands of time they were dug up and given to a friend of the community. We are looking forward to having figs once again! Congrats to Ro who correctly guessed what it was!
