Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Yesterday we experienced our third snowfall within a week (and they are predicting more snow on Tuesday)! It isn't even winter yet! The snow tapered off to freezing rain last night and we woke up to walking paths covered in a thick sheet of ice. Actually, everything was covered in a thick sheet of ice! Unfortunately the ice proved to be too much for one of the pine trees along our enclosure wall and it toppled over. Recreation in the falling snow.

Ice covered everything!

One of our pine trees fell under the weight of the ice.

Sabina takes advantage of the situation with some hearty digging.

That was hard work!
