Chant with Fr. James Moore, OP

This past weekend we were blessed to have Fr. James Moore, OP with us for a chant workshop. On Saturday and Sunday morning Father gave us presentations on music as a means of evangelization, and the history of chant from the time of the Apostles until present day. Father even used a projector to show us some of what the Friars at the House of Studies in DC are doing with music for evangelization. In the afternoons Father worked with the Chantresses on chant pieces for the Annunciation and Holy Week, and in the evenings he worked with the whole community.  Morning lecture on the History of Chant.
