Easter without Flowers?

We are blessed to be the beneficiaries of many incredibly generous people who give of their time, talent, and treasure to enable us to live the life to which God has called us. Whether they are lending their hand with beautifying our exterior grounds, donating the left overs of their dinner party (we love left overs!), or placing a few coins in our collection box, all of our benefactors help to make Rosary Shrine the wonderful  bastion of prayer that it is. During Advent and Holy Week we are always overwhelmed by the dozens and dozens of flowers brought to our chapel to help make the Sanctuary a festive and fitting place for our King. On Thursday evening our Eucharistic Lord will be removed to the altar of repose in our Chapter Hall.

Traditionally we surround the altar with all of the beautiful Easter lilies, hyacinths and tulips that are donated. This year our Sister Sacristan has called upon us to pray for more flowers....as we have no lilies and only  three tulips and tomorrow is Holy Thursday!
