Day of Prayer with Religious
Yesterday was the Day of Prayer with Religious for the Year for Consecrated Life. In our monastery we held Compline with Benediction at 7pm and invited the public to join us. A good friend of ours, Fr. Michael Barone, presided over Benediction and gave a short talk applying Compline's Nunc dimittis to the contemplative life. Afterwards we went to the parlor to greet all those who came to pray with us.
