We have a Prioress!
Yesterday, on the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Rosary, the elective chapter convened for our Prioral Election. We are pleased to announce that Sr. Mary Martin de Porres of Jesus, OP has been elected Prioress for a second 3-year term. According to our Constitutions, a nun may be elected for only two consecutive terms. A postulation is possible for a third consecutive term, but this must be approved by the Holy See. This will be Sr. Mary Martin's 7th term as Prioress! Please keep Sr. Mary Martin and the whole community in your prayers!
