October Rosary Pilgrimage

This Sunday, we held our October Rosary Pilgrimage with guest preacher Fr. Bernard Knapke, OP. Fr. Bernard was recently ordained this past May, and is currently finishing his Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L.) at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC.

After Fr. Gregory Salomone, OP, our chaplain, led the recitation of the rosary, Fr. Bernard preached a sermon which explained how the rosary is a sort of loom which weaves the mysteries of Christ’s life into our own lives as the beads pass through our hands, clothing us with Christ — a beautiful image to ponder.

We enjoyed a visit with Fr. Bernard in the parlor that evening before he headed back to Washington, D.C. the next morning.
