Corpus Christi Procession photos
The Corpus Christi procession this past Sunday was wonderful! Participants gathered in our monastery chapel, joined by our extern sisters and our chaplain, Fr. Elias, before processing out through the streets of Summit. Meanwhile, some of the cloistered sisters were able to participate by watching from the roof. Fr. Elias was assisted by Fr. Michael Barone, who carried the monstrance in the second half of the procession. After the procession returned, the participants joined us in praying Vespers (evening prayer), which concluded with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It was beautiful to see our chapel packed to honor our Eucharistic Lord on the feast of Corpus Christi.
