After Compline, the last element of the Divine Office of the day, Dominican Fathers and Sisters make a procession to an image of Our Lady, singing the Salve Regina according to the Dominican Chant. They follow this with the singing of an antiphon to Saint Dominic. This video was taken in the Church of the Dominican Second Order Sisters at Estavayer-le-Lac (Canton of Fribourg), Switzerland. The community was founded in 1280, and was for about 100 years in a forest location. They were persuaded to move behind the walls of a small town, and have been there ever since.

Estavayer is the oldest continuously functioning Dominican Monastery in the world. Prouilhe, the cradle of the Order, was demolished during the French Revolution. A new community was founded there in the late 1800's.
