Easter!

The celebration of Easter means rising at the late hour of 6:05 AM,three meals in the community room with talking, chocolate, walks out in the beautiful garden or for those who got little sleep the night before, a nap! It is a full day because we also sing the full Office and of course, Holy Mass, which is at 8:00 AM. The next few days after Easter are free days and music instead of reading at meals. We celebrate the entire Octave and by the end of Low Sunday we ready to get back to "normal"!

As the youngest, Sr. Janlyn does the honors of dropping the Italian Easter Egg.

Sister shows off the prize found inside: a key chain.

Sr. Mary Ellen Timothy shows off her marzipan banana at breakfast.

Sr. Mary Daniel's eggshell flower arrangements.

Easter dinner often means comparing notes on, "how was your Triduum?"

Sr. Judith Miryam, sacristan, is obviously suffering from lack of sleep!

Sr. Maria Teresa is still smiling!

Can one ever have too much chocolate cake? (Actually, yes!)

Sr. Mary John and Sr. Maureen load their dishes into the dishwasher.
