Blessing of the Gardens

On the afternoon of Ascension Thursday, Fr. John Paul Walker, OP, who was visiting from the Dominican House of Studies, Washington, DC, came inside for the traditional blessing of our gardens. Many of the Sisters joined him and all enjoyed the walk around the garden on a beautiful spring day.

Each Sister who has a garden made sure Father blessed her garden abundantly! As Father said, "Every seed, weed, flower, seedling, vine and tree was blessed throughly!" We continue to ask our Lady's intercession to bless us with an abundance of crops throughout the summer and the fall.
