Reflecting on Christ the Eternal High Priest

If you are a regular visitor to our blog you know that theological study is an important part of our lives as Dominicans, dedicated to the pursuit of Sacred Truth. So, you might say that it is almost natural that one way we would celebrate the Year for Priests is to spend time reflecting on Christ as the Eternal High Priest in the Letter to the Hebrews.

Fr. Pablo Gadenz who teaches at nearby Immaculate Conception Seminary has been coming for the past few weeks to share with us the fruits of his contemplation. We not only enjoy chewing on the the substantial meal of tradition and thought that he presents to us but his thorough hand-out notes gives us substantial "leftovers" for our own personal continued study and contemplation.
