Have Canadian...Will Celebrate!

We celebrated our first Canada Day giving Sr. Mary Cecilia quite a surprise! When she came down the stairs she was greeted with the flags of Canada and her home Province of Saskatchewan.

When she walked into the refectory she saw each table decorated with homemade flags of Canada and at each place was a word find puzzle of the capitals of each of the Provinces.

Sister had made Nanaimo Bars which are, in our estimation the best "import" there is! Canadian music in the refectory and Maple Leaf Butter Cookies for desert at supper made it a delightful day!

Sr. Mary Magdalene informs us that there is Kansas Day! And then there is New Jersey Day...Don't forget about Evacuation Day (Massachusetts!)
