NEW AT THE CLOISTER GIFT SHOPPE!

As we mentioned in an earlier blog post the Siegnadou Soap Sisters have been busy designing and testing new products for our gift shoppe. In the last few weeks we have posted several new items which we thought you would be interested in knowing about!

First, we have two new soaps! Blue Storm is swirled blue and white soap with a delightful musk blend.

Our other new soap is Caribbean Coconut! If you like coconut you'll love this soap! The test soaps were eagerly picked up by our resident coconut aficionados!

We are also offering 2 new beautiful statues of Our Lady. The photos just don't do them justice! One is of Our Lady Help of Christians and is over 12 inches tall. The other is of Our Lady of Guadalupe and is 8 inches tall. Both are cast in high quality resin and are substantial in weight. The statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe weighs nearly 2 pounds!

As you know from reading our blog, the Holy Father recently visited the Dominican Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary at Monte Mario, Rome. One of the most precious items in the keeping of the nuns is the "San Sisto" icon. Several of our readers have asked more information about this ancient icon and if we have any holy cards, etc.

We are now able to offer a beautiful, full color postcard size holy card of the San Sisto Madonna printed on high quality cover stock. The back of the card explains the history and findings from the restoration done in 1960. These cards may be purchased in quantities of 5, 25, or 100 cards. For larger quantities please contact as for special pricing.

Coming this fall we hope to offer you liquid hand soap! By popular request! We're still in the planning and testing stages.

You will also notice a slightly new change on our gift shoppe website. For all individual soaps you can choose from a drop down menu to purchase either 1 or 3 bars. To order any other quantity just choose either and the number desired in the quantity box. We're still hoping to be able to offer Mix 'n Match but so far we haven't been able to trick the software into letting us!
