Epiphany Party!

The Novitiate "Open House" Epiphany party is a long-standing tradition in our monastery. Once a year the professed sisters are invited up to the Novitiate community room for carols and goodies during evening recreation. Sr. Mary Daniel

Enjoying the Novitiate's Christmas decorations.

Emily and Sr. Maureen survey the spread of cookies, pudding, and hot cocoa.

Singing "We Three Kings" after the "kings" are crowned.

Sr. Maria Teresa, Sr. Mary Catharine, and Sr. Mary Cecilia are the kings this year! The "kings" are the lucky sisters who find an almond in their breakfast muffin.

Marie, Sr. Mary Magdalene, and Emily enjoy a bit of sledding before the party.

Sr. Mary Magdalene explains to Sabina why that isn't the best spot for her to sit. (The helmet was protection from Bina who likes to (play) bite anything that moves)
