You are a Priest Forever...
Last Thursday, May 24th, we had the joy of having Fr. Leo Camurati, OP say Mass for us. Father had just been ordained a priest the previous Saturday, May 19th, by Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York. It was a fitting day to come, as May 24th was the memorial of the translation of the relics of our Holy Father Dominic. Father gave a wonderful homily and after Mass gave us his blessing.
After breakfast we were able to visit with Fr. Leo in the parlor for a little while. As is our custom for newly ordained Dominican priests, we made a handwoven and embroidered confessional stole as an ordination gift.
