Novice Mistress's Feast Day

While everyone’s feast day is celebrated, there are special celebrations for the Novice Mistress and Prioress on their Feast Days. Sr. Joseph Maria, novice mistress, had her Feast Day (the Visitation) superseded by Pentecost this year, which is Sr. Denise Marie’s feast day! Sr. Joseph Marie’s feast day was celebrated a few days later. The novitiate played a rousing game of crocquet in the morning and enjoyed a variety of yummy snacks. A note on the board invited the rest of the community to join in the fun and treats. Crocquet had a new element of difficulty as a thick blanket of clover covered the yard, making it a bit more difficult to hit the ball, not to mention see it! All in all it was a beautiful day.
