Gift Shop reopens on June 29th!

After nearly 4 months our monastery gift shop, The Cloister Shoppe, will reopen here at the monastery on Monday, June 29th! The new hours are from 10-4 . Our volunteer receptionists will be following the protocols for New Jersey for retail stores. Although our little gift shop was considered an “essential business” in New Jersey we opted to err on the side of caution waiting to open after we could open our chapel for prayer and Mass.

We have lots of lovely new things available. New books, too! We are also selling face masks made here at the monastery. At this point we can only sell them in the shop here at the monastery and not online as we are not able to keep up with the demand.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the monastery! Be sure to go to the chapel to spend time with Our Lord, too!

So, wear your face mask, get those hands sanitized at the shoppe entrance and don’t forget to keep 6 feet apart! Most of all, pray for an end to the coronovirus and for the people who are sick and our health care professionals caring for them.
