Monastery update after storm

Broken tree limbs but no downed trees this time in the cloister garden.

Thanks to the hardworking crews we now have power. Our phones and doors are working again. The gift shop is closed for the moment but may open later.

God bless all who have been working so tirelessly to secure lines and clear roads! THANK YOU!

Please not that at this time our phones and doorbells do not work because of the widespread power outage in the area.

Also, the gift shop, which is in the new wing, is closed.

The generator powers the old house but not the new wing and the phone/door system is the new wing. Hopefully, within the new future we will be able to install a generator for the new wing.

The chapel is open!

Praying for all of you who are suffering or inconvenienced by the storm. May the angels watch over the clean up crews and the power company crews who are working 24/7 to get the power back for us all!
